Milford stock clearance sale raises more than £260

Many thanks to everyone who supported our Easter Stock Clearance Sale at Milford-on-Sea Community Centre on 15 April.

A steady stream of customers saw our well-stocked clothing, jewellery and bric-a-brac stalls raise more than £260 towards rescuing, caring for and rehoming stray, abandoned or unwanted cats and kittens.

“We were lucky with the Easter weather and absolutely delighted with the result,” said Jon Hancock, Lymington Cat & Kitten Rescue’s honorary treasurer.

“The sale not only offered some terrific bargains but also enabled us to ‘clear the decks’ for new season stock.

“We are especially grateful to the community centre for allowing us access to the hall the previous afternoon to begin setting up our stalls.”
