2017 street collections – update

Lymington Cat & Kitten Rescue is holding three Saturday street collections across the New Forest in 2017.

The first took place in Lymington town centre on Bank Holiday Saturday 27 May and raised a very healthy £392.18.

Next up is a collection in Brockenhurst on 22 July, followed by Hythe on 2 September.

Treasurer Jon Hancock said: “We are extremely grateful to New Forest District Council for allocating these dates.

“We look forward to meeting supporters old and new – hopefully in fine weather.

“Last year the sun shone on us at Lymington and Brockenhurst, though over in Hythe we weren’t so lucky – torrential rain drenched us from head to toe. However, people were still incredibly generous.”

Between them, the 2016 street collections made nearly £700.
